Midwest Leukemia Symposium (Attendee Information)

The 2022 Midwest Leukemia Symposium will discuss novel treatments and management approaches for several disease states including myelofibrosis, acute myelogenous leukemia, acute lymphocytic leukemia, and acute promyelocytic leukemia, with an emphasis on the diagnostic difficulties and treatment of myelodysplastic syndromes. The panel discussion will explore the roles and responsibilities of the multidisciplinary team in supporting patients' psychological and functional well-being through complex diagnostic and treatment processes.
Symposium General Information
- Self-screening and Mask Guidance
- We ask that you self-screen prior to coming on campus. For campus visitors, please use the 1-Check COVID app available to iOS and Android users. For UNMC/Nebraska Medicine employees and students, please use the 1-Check UNMC app.
- Maintain social distance and wear a mask while on campus. KN95 face masks are still highly recommended but no longer required. Surgical masks are allowed. Cloth masks, gaiters, vented masks, and bandanas are not approved for use. Please bring your own mask.
- Parking
- Complimentary parking for campus visitors is available in Lot 17 (map). You may enter the parking structure from 45th and Leavenworth (next to La Casa) or from Saddlecreek and Jones Ct. (next to QuikTrip). The stairs from Lot 17 will take you to Emile Street.
- Employees and students of UNMC and Nebraska Medicine should park in their regular parking areas.
- UNMC CCE is not liable for any parking ticket that a participant may incur when attending this symposium.
