- Describe key features of case management (clinical syndrome, use of clinical laboratory services, therapy, recovery) of the following enteric diseases: traveler's diarrhea, invasive enteric bacteria, cholera, amebiasis, giardiasis, and cryptosporidiosis.
- Apply knowledge of epidemiology and case management to identify approaches to decreasing the impact of the following enteric diseases: traveler's diarrhea, invasive enteric bacteria, cholera, amebiasis, giardiasis, and cryptosporidiosis.
- Integrate approaches to medical care delivery and health team functioning in the tropical environment to inform treatment decisions that respect patient and community values.
