The Cancer Research Training and Education Core acts as a crucial component of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, ensuring the continuity and advancement of cancer research education in its basic, translational, and clinical forms.
The core is responsive to the unique needs of our catchment area and its medically underserved and underrepresented populations, as well as mindful of the importance of international collaborations and outreach.

Training Navigator Program
The Training Navigator Program addresses disparities by facilitating the cancer research training of scholars, including predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees and early faculty members.
Faculty Scholar Exchange Program
The Upper Midwest Emerging Scholars Exchange is a new, collaborative effort to support the career development of early career faculty in the region. The goal is to create opportunities for faculty to receive invitations to speak at peer Midwest cancer centers.
