'''Magnetic Resonance (MR) Safety Policy'''
Students entering an MR room must adhere to all MR safety policies and procedures. The magnetic field is always on and unsecured magnetically susceptible materials can cause injury or damage. Upon matriculation into the program, students will be educated on safety by reading the American Society of Radiologic Technologists- Magnetic Resonance Safety materials and complete the program's MR Environment Screening Form for Individuals. These documents are found in the Orientation course on Canvas. The completed screening form will be kept in the student’s records and any questions regarding the screening process will be communicated with a certified and registered MR technologist prior to students rotating into the MR room.
