Resources

The Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Core offers a variety of bioinformatic research, educational and service tools to UNMC researchers.

Various publicly available bioinformatics data repositories (GenBank, UniProt, etc.) are mirrored and updated on local servers that are maintained by Dr. Guda’s research personnel. Access to these datasets and computational servers is made available upon request.

Various specialized in-house and third party bioinformatics databases and tools are installed and maintained by us at the center. A student/teaching lab is being set up with several desktop computers loaded with bioinformatics tools and software.

Our core maintains a server at the UNMC data center for use by UNMC community.
