Allie Burt, MD

Dr. Alexandra "Allie" Burt completed her undergraduate education at St. Louis University, with a BA in Philosophy and minor in Biology. She earned her medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2019, where she discovered her love of psychiatry. She then completed psychiatry residency training at Creighton University/UNMC combined program in 2023. Dr. Burt’s primary interests include perinatal psychiatry, psychodynamic psychotherapy with emphasis on psychodynamic psychopharmacology, and resident education. Dr. Burt enthusiastically joined BHECN in 2023 as assistant director of psychotherapy training to help improve the quality of psychodynamic education for psychiatry residents in the state of Nebraska. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, travel, and live music.
