Meet Our Interim Chair
Mohanad Shukry, MD, PhD, serves as interim chair of the Department of Anesthesiology, as well as the Carol Lydiatt, MD & Daniel Lydiatt, MD Endowed Professor.
Education & Training
With a residency and seven fellowship programs, our department offers unparalleled anesthesia training. iEXCEL, UNMC's renowned simulation center, provides a virtual hospital, operating room, biocontainment unit and other cutting-edge simulated training environments.
