Brad Dexter
Dr. Dexter joined the Physical Therapy Program as an Assistant Professor. With 13 years as a practicing physical therapist at Quality Living, Inc. (QLI), Dr. Dexter has developed expertise in neurological rehabilitation such as brain and spinal cord injuries and as a clinical instructor for many UNMC physical therapy students. He is an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Level 1 Credentialed Clinical Instructor. Prior to joining the faculty at UNMC, he taught in lab courses for the UNMC and Creighton University physical therapy programs. Dr. Dexter’s passion for technology, health and wellness, and leadership in healthcare translates to the creation of educational videos, presentations, and podcasts for QLI and Kintinu Telerehab.

Dr. Dexter’s wife Stephanie works as a software designer and they have three kids at home: Eva (7th grade), Ruby (5th grade), and Silas (2nd grade). They love the outdoors, a variety of sports, board games, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Dexter personally loves a well-manicured yard, playing guitar, and as a native Nebraskan (Central City is his hometown), most things Nebraska Cornhusker.
