Dr. Carney is a physician assistant and adjunct professor for the Doctor of Medical Science program. She graduated from Quinnipiac University’s Physician Assistant Program in 2009 and has been working as a Hospitalist PA at Yale New Haven Hospital for the duration of her career. In 2020 she transitioned to a leadership position within the Hospitalist department where she now manages a large group of PAs and APRNs. Dr. Carney obtained her Doctor of Medical Science degree from the University of Lynchburg in 2024. She is excited to teach Quality Improvement for UNMC’s DMSc program.
