Cynthia (Cindy) Arnold, MSN RN-BC, CPHQ, LSS-GB
Arnold is an Assistant Professor in the College of Allied Health Professions teaching as an Adjunct Professor in the Healthcare Delivery Science Program. She is a Registered Nurse with many years of direct patient care clinical experiences. Arnold has a MSN in Informatics from UNMC and a PMC as a Nurse Educator from Nebraska Methodist College of Health Sciences. She is Board Certified in Informatics, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), and as a Lean Six Sigma-Green Belt.

In addition to clinical practice, Arnold has worked as a Informaticist implementing electronic systems for various organizations in Nebraska and across the country and as a Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. Her love is combining the technology of informatics into patient safety and quality improvement processes. She describes herself as a "Nurse-Geek" because most people understand both of those terms. She loves to use data to solve problems and puzzles.

In the HDS program she teaches Quality Improvement, Informatics, Healthcare Management and Leadership courses.
