MITS Mission Statement

The medical imaging and therapy programs within the Department of Clinical, Diagnostic & Therapeutic Sciences are mission-driven to provide a premier educational environment that prepares competent entry-level professionals who demonstrate the highest quality of patient-centered care, safety, and service.

Goal 1: Students will be clinically competent.

Student Learning Outcomes:

Students will position patients as directed in the treatment plan/record.
Students will operate equipment to plan or deliver a prescribed therapeutic dose.
Students will describe the relationship between normal tissue tolerance and tumor lethal dose.

Goal 2: Students will demonstrate effective communication skills.
