How to Apply
Resident Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- Licensed to practice in the state of Nebraska by August 1st of the application year
- CPR Certification (BLS or equivalent)
- APTA member, APTA Nebraska member, and member of the Academy of Orthopedics
Application Instructions
Apply online through Residency-Fellowship Physical Therapy Central Application System (RF-PTCAS).
- Create an account in RF-PTCAS, then search for the University of Nebraska Medical Center in the Orthopedic Residency Program Directory
- Required submissions on RF-PTCAS:
- Three letters of reference/recommendation
- Physical Therapy Program Transcript
- Resume/CV
- Answer essay questions
- Please email ptresidency@unmc.edu if you have any questions, or plan to apply.
International applicants with a 12-month Visa may be able to adjust the length of the program to complete requirements within the 12-month timeframe. Please contact us with any questions regarding this process.
