How to Apply

Resident Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate from CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
Licensed to practice in the state of Nebraska by August 1st of the application year
CPR Certification (BLS or equivalent)
APTA member, APTA Nebraska member, and member of the Academy of Orthopedics

Application Instructions

Apply online through Residency-Fellowship Physical Therapy Central Application System (RF-PTCAS).

Create an account in RF-PTCAS, then search for the University of Nebraska Medical Center in the Orthopedic Residency Program Directory
Required submissions on RF-PTCAS:
- Three letters of reference/recommendation
- Physical Therapy Program Transcript
- Resume/CV
- Answer essay questions

International applicants with a 12-month Visa may be able to adjust the length of the program to complete requirements within the 12-month timeframe. Please contact us with any questions regarding this process.
