Clinical Placement Locations

The UNMC Diagnostic Cytology program is a leader in distance education with students located all over the country. Students receive didactic/lab instruction through distance education technologies but must be at their accepted clinical placement location (almost daily) to complete their clinical coursework.

NOTE: Applicants – please be aware of possible additional state licensure requirements for cytology professionals in your home state or desired state of employment. If state licensure is required for cytology professionals in the state of one of our clinical placement locations, a (+) will be added to encourage further investigation at the applicants responsibility. Please see our Certification & Licensure page to learn more.
