Preference Factors
Clinical Perfusion Program Preference Factors
Motivational factors, life experience, patient care experience, maturity, personality as assessed in personal interviews, and references are all important factors in the selection process. An applicant's academic record is important and serves as an indicator of ability to succeed in an intensive and rigorous program.
Upon review of the applications, those applicants considered most competitive will be invited for an initial web-based interview. Applicants considered most competitive following the web-based interviews, will then be invited for a final, personal interview. An applicant is considered without regard to age, sex, race, color, national origin, religion, political beliefs, or disability.
Applicants who have not been accepted for admission may be placed on an alternate list. In the event a seat in the educational program becomes available, alternates will be contacted and offered admission. However, being placed on an alternate list does not guarantee that the individual will be accepted in the future class. Alternate candidates must reapply if they wish to be considered in future years.
