Application Process

Take the first step on your path to a career in health care.

The application period for 2024-2025 is Nov. 17 - Jan. 19. Please review the eligibility requirements before applying.

Seven Items Needed to Apply

Everything must be submitted by the application deadline:

Completed application form (you will need to create an account to access the application)
Parent/guardian permission
250-word essay describing your reasons for pursuing the UNMC High School Alliance and your interest in a health science career
Counselor certification form
Current school transcripts
Two recommendation letters:
- One from a math or science teacher
- One from any other teacher or administrator

Note: The letters of recommendation are confidential. As an applicant, you will need to submit valid email addresses for your counselor and your two other recommenders. Their completed information will be sent directly to the UNMC High School Alliance.
