Join us in making an impact on the health and wellness of students, faculty, staff and the populations that we care for.

The Health Humanities Interest Group is a forum for faculty and staff interested in humanities related activities at UNMC and UNO. A primary focus of the group is collaboration to improve the health and wellness of students, faculty, staff and the community.

Members of the group may collaborate in various areas based on interest. Potential topics include:

  • Examining and evaluating curricular activities
  • Developing curricular or co-curricular activities
  • Using ENGAGE to share campus activities
  • Developing activities for staff/faculty

The group will offer opportunities to network and collaborate on areas of interest to support health humanities and the development of the future Ted Kooser Health Humanities Center, located on the UNO campus.

If you are interested in joining the group, please email the Academy for more information.
