Learn About Nebraska's Legislature
The Nebraska Legislature has one house—most states have two, a House and a Senate. It is the only unicameral in the country.
Nebraska state senators are not officially recognized by party affiliation. With 49 members, it is also the smallest state legislature of any U.S. state.
