Opioid related overdose deaths continue to increase, with overdose deaths among adults aged 65 and older increasing more than five times from 1999 to 2019. To increase knowledge, the Nebraska Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program created provider and patient materials to enhance opioid education and awareness for healthcare professionals and patients.
