We are working to expand and improve our department's research enterprise and resident training by developing our programs and training.

Our goal is to be among the top tier of programs within the next five years in performing nationally recognized, extramurally funded clinical and basic research. Each quarter we highlight grants received by faculty in our Department.

Our department encourages student research and offers various opportunities for students to become involved a variety of research including basic science, translational, clinical outcomes, educational, global health, and public health.
