Established in 2012, the mission of the Holland Regenerative Medicine Program is to bring together outstanding scientists and clinicians who are committed to developing and enhancing cutting edge regenerative therapies for incurable diseases. Since its inception, the program has recruited investigators in the fields of developmental biology, biomaterials, tissue engineering, microfluidics, immunology and cell metabolism. We currently have active research programs in vascular, cartilage, bone, tendon, cochlear, kidney and intestinal engineering. With the generous support of Omaha donors and burgeoning extramural funding, the program is well on its way to establishing new avenues in regenerative medicine research, fostering collaborations and developing treatments that will move to clinical trial.
