Abdominal Imaging

Annually, many thousands of patients in the United States undergo imaging for the workup of a suspected or known abnormality of the abdomen.  Cross-sectional imaging modalities, such as ultrasound (US), computed tomography (CT or CAT scan), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are utilized at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) to assess abdominal abnormalities.  Although, UNMC radiology has experience in all these techniques, we particularly excel in liver MRI and can assess the entire spectrum of liver disorders.
