2010-Present:  ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CENTER FOR GLOBAL HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT

Responsible for administration  and program development activities of the Center including the development of new partnerships with international academic, public sector and private sector partner institutions; development of working reatonships with other parts of the University of Nebraska Medical Center including the College of Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Allied Health Sciences and the College of Pharmacy; development of working relationships with other parts of the University of Nebraska System  including the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the new Water for Food Institute in Lincoln; staffed UNMC Vice Chancellor’s Office for development of Global Health Strategic Plan for UNMC; oversaw development of university-university partnerships with institutions in India, Taiwan, Colombia, Brazil and Uruguay; contributed to the identification and development of partnerships with the private sector in Omaha and overseas; developed long-term MOU’s with international NGOS including International Relief and Development; implemented administrative procedures for new Center for Global Health and Development; identified and facilitated collaborative efforts between various departments and centers within the College of Public Health; leading team evaluating USAID health programs in Liberia.
