Excluded Services

Charges for the following are submitted to the student’s insurance carrier. Call 559-7276 for insurance claims.

  • Allergy testing/extracts, pulmonary function testng
  • Cosmetic treatment (INCLUDING ACNE)/surgery
  • Procedures (mole removal, toenail wedging/removal, colposcopy , endometrial biopsy, I&D of abscess, injection tendon/ligament
  • Dentistry 
  • Diagnostic testing: Charges for diagnostics will be submitted to the student’s Major Medical insurance carrier
  • Eating disorder
  • Emergency services (contact Student Health, 559-5158 within 48 hours for referral)
  • Hospitalization/inpatient care
  • Infertility or human genetics
  • Oncological treatment
  • Outpatient surgery (including pathology charges)
  • Prescription drugs;  REVIEW YOUR MAJOR MEDICAL INSURANCE POLICY
  • Rehabilitation, prosthetics, orthotics, braces, crutches
  • Sleep studies, vascular studies, bone age studies
  • Off campus referrals for counseling
  • Titers (except for needle sticks)
  • Transportation by ambulance/rescue squad
  • Travel counseling and vaccinations
