You may contact our Front Desk from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at (402) 559-2020 to make an appointment at the UNMC Physicians Eye Specialties clinic or at (402) 596-4600 to make an appointment at Village Pointe Eye Specialties.

How do I know what kind of eye specialist I need?
When you ask for an appointment, you will be asked about your eye condition or to describe your symptoms. The scheduling representative will guide you in determining the appropriate eye specialty for your problem. You can also click here to view a complete list of our specialists or to search for our physicians by their specialty and their office locations. This link also provides useful information about each doctor's area of sub-specialty and their educational background.

It is located at Village Pointe Medical Center, 110 N. 175th Street (Get Directions), Omaha, Nebraska. Hours: Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but open until 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursdays. Phone: (402) 596-4600. Emergency/After hours: (402) 559-4000.

What should I do if I am having increasing eye pain, worsening redness, deteriorating vision, increasing light sensitivity, or new onset of seeing floaters and flashes of light?
If you think you are having an eye emergency, please contact us at (402) 559-2020 or come immediately to our eye clinics during office hours. Go to the UNMC emergency room or call (402) 559-4000 after office hours or during weekends and holidays.
