Bike for Sight 2012

Bike for Sight Event Attendees, Saturday April 14, 2012 marked the 1st Annual Bike for Sight Charity Ride and on behalf of the University of Nebraska Medical Center and those living needlessly blind within the developing world we wanted to thank you each for joining us in making our first event a HUGE success. We had 374 Riders register for today's ride and with every rider giving the gift of sight that means 374 patients will receive sight-restoring cataract surgery. We hope that you will join us next year. In the meantime, be sure to check back to the website to see the documentary being produced featuring not only this year's ride, but the resulting surgeries for the patients we’ll be curing in Haiti.

For more information on this year’s ride, or the work the International Division of Ophthalmology at UNMC is doing please feel free to contact its Development Director: Jessica Feilmeier – (402) 305-2852. Safe Rides!
