Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery

The UNMC Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery trains medical students and residents through an outstanding curriculum with vigorous clinical and surgical experience.

We deliver world-class medical care while simultaneously creating an environment where trainees can learn the most advanced methods and ideas in otolaryngology.

Our program produces well-rounded, ethical, outstanding physicians who make positive impacts on both the lives of their patients, their communities, and the specialty itself. We strive to conduct research with our trainees in a way that answers critical questions and fosters ideas and skills that encourage future endeavors both inside and outside of training.

Otolaryngology Residency

Our residency program emphasizes not only clinical and surgical training but seeks to ensure residents have the skills necessary to take on challenging situations when they graduate. Our residents get exposure to a wide range of patients and pathologies because our primary clinical partner draws patients from all over the Midwest.
