Our undergraduate curriculum is a competency based format. The prosthodontics section oversees 13 pre-clinical courses, 8 clinical courses, and 4 lecture courses. Clinical competencies are designed to measure the performance of a student working independently. Currently, our clinical course competencies include treatment planning with a diagnostic mounting, an OSE exam on removable prosthodontics, a manikin exam for crown and bridge preparations which is modeled after the Central Regional Dental Testing Service (CRDTS) licensure exam, and a clinical crown preparation. Students are able to experience the latest technologies in CAD/CAM restorations, all ceramic restorations, and implant based prosthesis.
