Accreditation

Program Accreditation

The UNMC Master of Medical Nutrition Program is currently granted accreditation status by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), a nongovernmental higher education organization, and the federal government, through the United States Department of Education (USDE), recognize the quality and effectiveness of ACEND as the accrediting body for dietetics education programs.
