Our Faculty

The goal of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is to provide comprehensive education and training for future scientists planning careers as experimental biologists and science educators.

Department Chair: Surinder K. Batra, PhD

Dr. Surinder Batra serves as professor and chairperson of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Stokes-Shackelford Professor, and Associate Director for Education and Training of the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.
