Dr. Jeff Snell holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a Masters in Psychometrics Psychology from Northeast Louisiana University. He completed his doctorate in Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi, with a specialization in Clinical Psychology. The Louisiana native transplanted to Nebraska and joined the staff at QLI in 1998. In addition to working with patients from across the nation who have suffered a brain injury or spinal cord injury, Dr. Snell also serves as Coordinator of Research and Director of Psychology and Neuropsychology Services at QLI. Dr. Snell brings extraordinary talent in developing compensatory strategies that are critical for the successful long-term living for his patients and their families.

In addition, Dr. Snell has taught and guest lectured at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and Grace University in Omaha, NE. He is a member of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine and the American Psychological Association. He has published peer-reviewed articles in the following professional journals: Journal of Medical Speech-Language Pathology, The Consultant Pharmacist, Communication Disorders Quarterly, Psychophysiology, Brain Injury, and the Journal of Anxiety Disorders. He has also contributed to several textbooks on brain injury and communication disorders.

Dr. Snell presents regularly to audiences throughout the United States including recent presentations at the Governor’s Conference on Worker’s Compensation and Occupational Safety & Health in Montana; the 5th Annual Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater Kansas City Conference; and multiple other annual state workers’ compensation conferences, Case Management Society of America conferences, and state Brain Injury Association conferences.
